Standard Fee for Officiating a Wedding

My standard fee for officiating a wedding ceremony is $250 within 50 miles of Lafayette.  That includes:

• Creating your personalized ceremony
• Arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony
• Performing the legal ceremony
• Registering the signed license with the proper Clerk of Court

The average time I am present for a ceremony is 1.5 hours.  Extended delays may result in an additional cost.

The rehearsal fee is $100 for one hour.

Payment options

Payment options (PayPal, Venmo, or certified check) are included in the wedding ceremony contract. 

One half is due upon signing the contract to reserve the date and time.  The remaining payment is due 30 days before the ceremony if time permits.  All fees must be paid before the ceremony.

Discounts are offered for active military or veterans.
